Meet Career Home and KAAI: Your AI Career Co-Pilot

Jobsify AI Team · October 16, 2026

If you want an AI career co-pilot that starts from your resume instead of a blank form, the new Career Home on JobsifyAI is built for that. It replaces the old Candidate Dashboard, and a redesigned Meet KAAI onboarding now fills in your profile from your resume in one click.

Here is what changed, why it matters for your next career move, and how to use it in about ten minutes.

Why your career needs one home base

Most of us manage a career across scattered tabs: a resume in a folder, saved jobs on three portals, interview notes in a phone app, a half-finished course somewhere else. Nothing talks to anything.

The market is not making that easier. Naukri's JobSpeak index for September 2026 shows white-collar hiring up just 2% year on year, while AI and machine learning roles jumped 20% (Staffing Industry Analysts, 2 Oct 2026). In plain terms: overall hiring is flat, but demand is moving to specific skills. Knowing which skills you have, and which you are missing, matters more than sending one more application.

What is Career Home?

Career Home is the first screen you see after you sign in to JobsifyAI. It replaces the Candidate Dashboard and brings your profile, your matched jobs and KAAI, our AI career assistant, together in one place.

The idea is simple. Your career plan should be the centre of the page, and jobs should follow from it, not the other way round. That is the whole point of a career co-pilot: grow first, and the right job follows.

Meet KAAI: onboarding that starts with your resume

New to JobsifyAI? You are introduced to KAAI (pronounced "Kai"), who walks you through setup.

  • Upload or paste your resume. Either works. Paste is handy if your resume lives in an email or a document you do not want to export.
  • Click Prefill. KAAI reads the resume and fills in your profile for you, so you are not retyping years of experience into form fields.
  • Review and correct. You stay in control. Check what was filled in, fix anything that looks off, and move on.

KAAI chat has also been made friendlier, and Ask KAAI now follows your light or dark theme, so it feels like part of the page rather than a bolted-on widget.

Ten minutes to a first career plan

Here is a practical way to use the new setup, whether you are a fresher, a tester thinking about SDET, or a bank officer eyeing a relationship manager role.

  1. Sign up and open Meet KAAI. Upload or paste your resume and use Prefill.
  2. Check your profile. Fix job titles, dates and skills. Accurate input gives you better output.
  3. Set your job preferences. Matched Jobs now respect your preferences, so what you set here shapes what you see.
  4. Ask KAAI for your skill gaps. Pick a target role and ask what is missing between your resume and that role.
  5. Practise. Use "Prepare for this interview" to start a practice interview directly, so you rehearse before the real call.

If you are weighing a bigger switch, our guides on moving from manual testing to SDET and job switch tips for India in 2026 pair well with this flow.

Job search got better too

Alongside Career Home, the job search itself was upgraded:

  • Location suggestions as you type
  • A location filter that works across all open jobs
  • Better relevance ranking
  • Matched Jobs that use your job preferences

None of this replaces the real work of building skills. It just removes friction from the part you were going to do anyway.

Why a clean profile matters now

Recruiters are dealing with more applications than ever. LinkedIn research reported by Storyboard18 says applicants per job have more than doubled since 2022, and that many recruiters find AI-written applications hard to separate from genuine ones (Storyboard18).

The way to stand out is a profile that is specific, accurate and backed by skills you can show. A resume that is easy to read and honest about what you have done beats a polished one that says nothing. If you want to tighten yours first, start with our guide to an ATS-friendly resume in India.
