Academic Counselor

About the Role

We are seeking a confident, empathetic, and people-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team. This role involves connecting with prospective students, understanding their learning and career goals, and guiding them towards suitable programs. The ideal candidate will thrive in conversations, be comfortable interacting with diverse individuals, and possess the ability to convert inquiries into meaningful enrollments through genuine counseling.

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala Work Mode: Work from Office Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from prospective students via calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations.
• Recommend suitable courses or programs based on individual requirements.
• Clearly explain course structure, benefits, fees, schedules, and career opportunities.
• Consistently follow up with prospective students and maintain an organized inquiry pipeline.
• Build trust and establish strong relationships with students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
• Coordinate with academic and marketing teams to enhance the student acquisition journey.
• Achieve individual and team counseling and enrollment targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in both Malayalam and English communication.
• Good listening, persuasion, and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable with telephone and face-to-face counseling.
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems, Google Workspace, or similar tools is advantageous.
• Freshers with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
