Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily morning meetings to communicate company directives and instructions to the branch team.
  • Oversee branch business targets and manage loan recovery efforts.
  • Develop, monitor, and achieve branch-level business and sales objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of the branch team.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships and effectively resolve customer complaints.
  • Supervise daily branch transactions and ensure timely completion of day-end activities.
  • Verify and authorize vouchers, registers, system entries, and branch transactions in accordance with established processes.
  • Maintain secure custody of branch keys, important documents, unused cheques, and other critical records.
  • Monitor daily cash and bank balances, reporting positions to Regional/Area management.
  • Manage the remittance and receipt of funds between the branch and Head Office/other branches.
  • Prepare and submit Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) within stipulated deadlines.
  • Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of all statutory licenses.
  • Respond to security and intrusion alarm alerts according to company guidelines.
  • Verify pledged items, ensuring appropriate checks on their purity/value as required.
  • Coordinate with auditors, address audit queries, and ensure timely implementation of rectifications.
  • Maintain accurate customer databases and branch records.
  • Ensure efficient branch administration, discipline, and professional conduct.
  • Organize and conduct regular customer meetings and business promotion activities.
  • Support market development, customer acquisition, cross-selling initiatives, and overall business expansion.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience, with a strong preference for Banking/NBFC/financial services backgrounds.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree (Any Discipline).
  • Demonstrated experience in Branch Operations and Branch/Sales Management.
  • Proficiency in managing loan products, including but not limited to:
    • Gold Loan
    • Business Loan
    • Vehicle Loan
    • NCD
    • NCD Sub-Department
  • Proven track record in achieving business targets and managing loan recovery.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and grievance resolution skills.
  • Experience with branch-level compliance, audit coordination, and administrative tasks.
  • Solid understanding of daily transaction processing, authorization, cash/bank management, and BRS.
  • Effective sales, business development, negotiation, and customer acquisition skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Profile

  • Candidates with prior Banking/NBFC branch management experience are highly preferred.
  • Experience managing a diverse portfolio of financial products is advantageous.
  • Candidates with a strong focus on sales targets, loan growth, recovery, and team performance will be prioritized.
  • Candidates with Microfinance experience only will not be considered.
  • Individuals capable of independently managing branch operations and achieving business targets will be strongly considered.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
