About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BSP Lead to join a leading product engineering and software development company specializing in enterprise, telecom, artificial intelligence, and IoT sectors. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of BSP engineers, taking full ownership of the development, maintenance, and optimization of embedded Linux BSPs and platform software. You will be responsible for driving platform development from prototype through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This position is based in Cochin, Kerala, and we are looking for candidates interested in a long-term career in this region. Proficiency in Malayalam is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of BSP engineers to achieve project milestones and technical excellence.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of embedded Linux BSPs and platform software.
  • Develop and integrate bootloaders, Linux kernel components, Device Trees, and device drivers.
  • Lead board bring-up activities, hardware/software integration, and comprehensive system validation.
  • Architect and maintain a reusable, scalable software platform capable of supporting multiple product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive platform development from initial prototype through to mass production.
  • Manage BSP project planning, conduct rigorous design and code reviews, and ensure the highest standards of software quality.

Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

  • 8+ years of professional experience in BSP development, embedded systems engineering, and board bring-up.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience managing a BSP or embedded Linux team.
