Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help build and evolve the infrastructure platform that powers modern applications and services. This role focuses on designing and automating scalable, secure, resilient, and highly repeatable cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Git-based workflows, and platform engineering. You will collaborate closely with application engineering, security, and cloud architecture teams to build reliable infrastructure platforms and enable developers through automation and self-service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

• Architect and build cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Git-based workflows.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and repeatable infrastructure solutions.
• Leverage cloud IaaS and PaaS services across compute, storage, networking, databases, messaging, and identity.
• Design infrastructure solutions aligned with business and application requirements.
• Establish infrastructure standards focused on automation, compliance, reliability, and security.

Kubernetes

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement multi-tenant Kubernetes configurations.
• Configure and maintain network policies and security controls.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes infrastructure and workload-related issues.
• Ensure Kubernetes environments are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Develop and maintain modular Terraform codebases.
• Create reusable Terraform modules, templates, and infrastructure patterns.
• Build automation and self-service capabilities for developer infrastructure access.
• Establish appropriate guardrails while enabling engineering teams to provision infrastructure efficiently.
• Promote repeatability and consistency through Infrastructure as Code.

GitOps & Platform Engineering

• Drive adoption of Git-based infrastructure workflows and GitOps practices.
• Contribute to platform engineering patterns and developer enablement.
• Implement automation and workflows that improve infrastructure delivery.
• Support policy-driven infrastructure management and governance.

CI/CD & Scripting

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and application delivery.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Integrate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows with development pipelines.

Security & Governance

• Implement infrastructure security and governance best practices.
• Apply appropriate identity and access management principles.
• Support secure Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure configurations.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets organizational security requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with application, security, DevOps, and cloud architecture teams.
• Provide technical guidance on infrastructure architecture and implementation.
• Contribute to broader platform engineering and cloud strategy.
• Provide technical leadership on infrastructure initiatives.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in the following:

• 7+ years in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, or Platform Engineering.
• Production-grade Kubernetes operations and architecture.
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Experience with Git-based infrastructure workflows.
• Strong knowledge of cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience designing solutions involving:

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Strong infrastructure automation and troubleshooting skills.
