About the Role Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cyber Security & Information Security Analyst to join our IT and Information Security team at the Faridabad Head Office. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of cybersecurity/information security internship experience who are looking to build a career in Cyber Security Operations, Information Security, Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management, GRC, and Compliance. The selected candidate will work closely with the IT and Information Security teams to support day-to-day security operations, security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, endpoint and email security, access reviews, risk assessments, security awareness initiatives, and ISO 27001 compliance activities. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where the candidate will gain practical exposure to real-world cybersecurity processes, tools, controls, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Cyber Security Operations Monitor and support day-to-day cybersecurity and information security operations. Assist in identifying, investigating, documenting, and reporting security incidents. Review basic security alerts and logs for suspicious activities. Support basic threat hunting and security log analysis activities. Assist with endpoint security monitoring and remediation. Support email security monitoring and phishing investigation activities. Escalate potential security incidents according to defined procedures. Assist in maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and security documentation.
- Vulnerability & Threat Management Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments using security tools. Identify and document vulnerabilities and security findings. Support vulnerability remediation tracking and follow-up with relevant IT teams. Prepare basic vulnerability assessment reports and dashboards. Assist in gathering and analyzing threat intelligence. Support threat assessment and security review activities. Help maintain vulnerability and risk registers.
- Identity & Access Management Support periodic user access reviews and access certification activities. Validate user provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning requests. Assist with employee joiner, mover, and leaver access processes. Support privileged access reviews. Identify and report inappropriate or excessive access. Assist in maintaining access-related records required for audits and compliance.
- Information Security & GRC Support Information Security and IT Governance, Risk & Compliance activities. Assist with ISO/IEC 27001 compliance and control implementation activities. Support internal and external security audits. Assist in collecting and organizing audit evidence. Maintain information security policies, procedures, registers, and records. Support risk assessments and control reviews. Assist in tracking security compliance requirements and remediation actions. Participate in security assessments and periodic control testing.
- Security Awareness & Phishing Management Assist in employee cybersecurity awareness initiatives. Support phishing simulation campaigns. Monitor and document phishing simulation results. Help prepare security awareness communications and training material. Assist in promoting best practices related to passwords, phishing, email security, data protection, and safe computing.
- Endpoint & Email Security Support monitoring of endpoint security alerts. Assist in investigating malware, suspicious files, and endpoint-related security events. Support endpoint security remediation activities. Assist with email security monitoring and suspicious email investigations. Identify and report potential phishing, malicious links, and suspicious attachments. Maintain appropriate security records and incident documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related technical discipline. Freshers are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 6 months of relevant cybersecurity/information security internship experience are preferred. Basic understanding of cybersecurity and information security concepts. Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, firewalls, and common network protocols. Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in cybersecurity.
Technical Skills Candidates should have basic knowledge of: Cyber Security Fundamentals Information Security Principles Vulnerability Assessment Threat & Risk Management Windows & Linux Networking & Network Security Endpoint Security Email Security Identity & Access Management Security Monitoring Security Incident Management SIEM Concepts IT GRC ISO/IEC 27001 Fundamentals
Good to Have Exposure or basic hands-on knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage: Burp Suite Vulnerability assessment tools Basic penetration testing concepts Threat hunting SIEM tools Security log analysis Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) concepts Email security solutions Identity & Access Management tools IT GRC platforms Security risk assessment ISO 27001 implementation or audit activities Cybersecurity labs or projects using platforms such as TryHackMe, Hack The Box, or similar
Preferred Certifications Any one of the following certifications or relevant training will be an added advantage: CompTIA Security+ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) ISO/IEC 27001 Internal Auditor ISO/IEC 27001 Implementer ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Relevant Cyber Security / Information Security certification Recognized cybersecurity internship certification
Certifications are not mandatory for freshers with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

Education Bachelor's Degree: B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.
