Enterprise Architect - Salesforce and SAP

We are hiring for a leading global digital transformation solutions company partnering with Fortune 500 enterprises across retail, manufacturing, healthcare, telecom, and financial services domains.

Role Overview

The Enterprise Architect will lead end-to-end architecture for regional migrations to STEP platform and eStore transformation initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, enterprise integrations, master data management, and cloud-native architecture.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, regional IT teams, program leadership, and delivery teams to ensure successful migration execution with minimal disruption to critical business operations including customer management, order-to-cash, finance, reporting, and digital commerce.

The environment includes enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Informatica, IBM IIB, MDM solutions, enterprise reporting systems, and custom-built applications.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise CRM & ERP Architecture

1. Own enterprise-level architecture for Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives.
2. Define target-state architecture and integration models across CRM, ERP, and eCommerce ecosystems.
3. Architect scalable interaction patterns involving:
4. Customer, account, and contact mastering
5. Quote-to-cash and order-to-cash flows
6. Pricing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes
7. Establish clear ownership boundaries between Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, MDM, and downstream enterprise systems.
8. Ensure alignment of enterprise business processes across sales, finance, customer service, and reporting domains.

Migration Strategy & Transformation Leadership

1. Design and govern phased migration strategies for regional ERP/CRM rollouts.
2. Lead architecture planning for coexistence models, phased cutovers, and transition states.
3. Conduct impact analysis for:
4. Country-specific applications
5. eStore and digital commerce platforms
6. Enterprise reporting and analytics systems
7. Ensure uninterrupted business operations during migration waves, including:
8. Sales operations
9. Billing and invoicing
10. Financial close processes
11. Reporting and dashboards

Integration & Data Architecture

1. Define enterprise integration patterns across:
2. Salesforce ↔ SAP S/4HANA
3. eStore ↔ Salesforce
4. SAP ↔ Enterprise reporting platforms
5. Enterprise middleware and APIs
6. Drive API-led and event-driven architecture strategies.
7. Oversee data migration, reconciliation, validation, and governance for:
8. Customer master data
9. Product and pricing data
10. Orders and financial transactions
11. Ensure enterprise data model alignment and adherence to source-of-truth principles.

Enterprise Architecture Governance

1. Enforce enterprise architecture standards, canonical models, and integration contracts.
2. Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to review and approve solution designs.
3. Maintain governance, traceability, and auditability of migrated systems and assets.
4. Ensure enterprise repositories and architecture documentation remain updated and compliant.

Security, Compliance & Risk Controls

1. Ensure all migrations comply with:
2. GDPR and EU regulatory standards
3. Enterprise security frameworks
4. Audit and compliance requirements
5. Define:
6. Role-based access controls
7. Segregation of duties
8. Data classification and governance standards
9. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to mitigate migration risks.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

1. Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, eCommerce, and Regional IT leadership teams.
2. Act as the central architecture authority connecting business objectives with technical execution.
3. Provide architectural guidance to engineering, integration, and migration teams.
4. Drive alignment between business transformation roadmaps and enterprise technology strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

1. 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
2. Proven expertise leading large-scale enterprise transformation and migration programs.
3. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives.
4. Experience managing multi-country or regional rollouts, preferably across Europe.
