About the Role

The Head Butler represents the absolute peak of personal luxury service. This is arguably the most intimate and exclusive role in hospitality — one that exists only at ultra-luxury properties like palace hotels, private island resorts, and branded 7-star properties. We are sourcing refined, discreet, and deeply intuitive individuals who can anticipate guest needs before they are expressed, and who understand that true luxury is never seen, only felt.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and train the butler team to deliver seamlessly personalized guest experiences for suite and villa guests
  2. Personally manage VVIP, royal, celebrity, and high-net-worth guest arrivals, stays, and departures
  3. Maintain detailed guest preference profiles and ensure every touchpoint — from room setup to dining — reflects personal knowledge of the guest
  4. Coordinate across all hotel departments — housekeeping, F&B, concierge, spa — to deliver a seamless guest journey
  5. Handle bespoke guest requests — personal shopping, private dining arrangements, surprise experiences, wardrobe management
  6. Manage butler pantry operations, in-suite dining, and butler service standards
  7. Conduct ongoing butler training — service etiquette, communication, discretion, and cultural sensitivity
  8. Act as the personal point of contact for long-stay and returning VVIP guests
