We are calling applicants on behalf of a  large, well-established retail group, seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to oversee its enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environment, network security, data centre operations, and disaster recovery capabilities. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, infrastructure leadership, and the ability to ensure secure, resilient, and highly available IT operations across business locations. The ideal candidate will combine strategic infrastructure planning with practical technical execution, ensuring business continuity, security, scalability, and operational efficiency. Candidates must be fluent in Malayalam, and preference will be given to local candidates with a long-term commitment to working from Thrissur.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Oversee servers, storage, networks, connectivity, and infrastructure services across offices, branches, and other business locations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of critical IT systems.
• Establish infrastructure standards, monitoring practices, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Manage infrastructure incidents, root-cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and service improvement initiatives.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, and recovery services.
• Oversee cloud resource provisioning, access controls, availability, performance, and cost optimisation.
• Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Manage enterprise firewalls, network segmentation, VPNs, secure connectivity, and perimeter security.
• Oversee data centre operations, server infrastructure, storage systems, virtualisation, and related infrastructure components.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Define and validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
• Implement infrastructure security controls, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and privileged access practices.
• Lead infrastructure engineers, technical support teams, and external service providers.
• Manage infrastructure budgets, technology procurement, renewals, and vendor performance.
