Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & Network Lead to manage and operate core
infrastructure across our multi location network. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure & End User Services,
this hands on technical role is responsible for network operations, cloud and on-premises server environments,
and backup and recovery. The role ensures infrastructure reliability, performance, and security across all company
sites.
Key Responsibilities
Network Management
• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VLAN, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure across all
sites
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure high availability of connectivity across HQ,
plants, and remote locations
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and network security policies. Enforce segmentation standards
• Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP addressing, and configuration records
• Evaluate and implement network upgrades and capacity expansions in line with business growth
Cloud & On-Premises Infrastructure Management
• Manage on-premises server infrastructure (physical and virtual) including Windows Server, Active Directory
integration etc
• Administer and optimise cloud environments (primarily AWS) including compute, storage, networking, and
cost management.
• Maintain cloud architecture ensuring seamless integration between on-prem and cloud workloads.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation practices to improve provisioning efficiency and reduce
manual effort
• Manage data centre operations including hardware, cabling, power, and environmental monitoring
Backup & Recovery Management
• Design and maintain backup policies, schedules, and retention frameworks for all critical systems and data
• Manage backup platforms and ensure successful completion of scheduled jobs across all sites
• Own and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) procedures on a regular basis
• Ensure offsite/cloud-based backup replication and data protection compliance
• Respond to and manage recovery scenarios, minimising RTO and RPO impact
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with IT security standards, including patch management, vulnerability
assessments, and hardening guidelines
• Maintain configuration and change records in line with ITIL best practices
• Support IT audits and provide infrastructure related evidence and reporting as required
Qualifications & Experience
• 5 to 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in an infrastructure focused role
• Strong hands on experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or
equivalent)
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation platforms
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS services
• Experience managing enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of DR/BCP principles and testing
• Certifications desirable: CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
or equivalent
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred.

Infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V, AWS
Backup: Veeam, Commvault
Monitoring: SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix or equivalent
