Job Location: Trivandrum & Bangalore

Mandatory Skills: IT asset Management, Software Licensing mainly Microsoft, IBM & Oracle

Experience:3 to 10 Years experience

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented ITAM Administrator to join our team. This role will play a critical part in managing software assets, ensuring license compliance, optimizing costs, and supporting governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the full lifecycle of software assets — procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement
2. Ensure software deployments align with licensing requirements of major OEMs
3. Analyse software usage and prepare license compliance reports
4. Recommend strategies to optimize license utilization and reduce risk
5. Maintain software purchase agreements, contracts, and entitlement records
6. Conduct periodic internal audits and support external audit processes
7. Collaborate with procurement to align acquisitions with entitlement and licensing requirements
8. Address licensing queries from cross-functional teams and provide cost-saving recommendations
9. Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools to manage IT tickets within SLA
10. Prepare management reports on compliance status, risks, and improvement initiatives
11. Identify continuous improvement opportunities in SAM processes

🛠 Required Expertise:

1. Strong understanding of software licensing models and vendor agreements
2. Hands-on experience with SAM tools and discovery solutions
3. Experience tracking and managing enterprise-wide software deployments
4. Knowledge of compliance monitoring and audit readiness
5. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
6. Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills

Leadership & General Skills:

1. Experience leading IT asset management professionals
2. Ability to define strategies, goals, and work plans
3. Strong prioritization and time management skills
4. Data-driven mindset with focus on productivity and continuous improvement

Preferred Certifications:

1. SAM / HAM Certification (Desired)
2. Strong knowledge of software license interpretation and compliance frameworks
