Role Overview

We are hiring a SOC Analyst (L2) to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a 24x7 environment. The role involves SIEM/EDR monitoring, incident response, and mentoring junior analysts, ensuring high-quality security operations and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM/EDR tools (e.g., Splunk)
Investigate, triage, and respond to low-to-medium complexity security incidents
Act as an escalation point for junior analysts and mentor L1 team members
Ensure incidents are handled within SLA and defined SOC processes
Perform log analysis (network, firewall, endpoint, IDS) to detect threats
Develop and improve playbooks, use cases, and detection rules
Collaborate with teams for incident response and threat hunting activities
Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and audit trails

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in SOC / Security Operations
Strong hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk preferred) and EDR solutions
Knowledge of incident response lifecycle and threat analysis
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, networking, and security concepts
Experience in log analysis and SPL query writing
Understanding of cyber threats, attack patterns, and detection techniques
Good communication and analytical skills

Nice to Have

Certifications: Security+, GCIH, ECIH, CEH or similar
Experience with cloud security (AWS/GCP)
Knowledge of ISO 27001 / security frameworks
