Job Title: Team Leader – Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions SME)
Role Overview
The Corporate Actions Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Asset Servicing team is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of corporate events across global markets, with primary coverage across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas.
This role ensures accurate identification, creation, execution, and reconciliation of corporate actions across multiple asset classes including equities, bonds, and CFDs.
As a Team Leader, you will manage complex events, supervise daily operations, act as an escalation point, and mentor analysts while ensuring adherence to deadlines, controls, and risk management standards.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Actions Management
- Identify, scrub, and create corporate events across all markets and asset classes.
- Manage mandatory and voluntary corporate actions end-to-end.
- Ensure authorized investment decisions are received and communicated in a timely manner.
- Generate and execute instructions to custodians and third-party contacts.
- Manage Fund Manager decisions for elective events.
- Monitor event lifecycle progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Validate global income accruals and credits.
- Maintain tax tables and manage COAC due cash and stock breaks.
- Ensure compliance warnings are appropriately managed.
- Ensure full documentation and timely closure of events.
Reconciliation & Controls
- Reconcile holdings between custodians and internal systems.
