Lead I – Enterprise Solutions (Infrastructure Migration Lead)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Lead Enterprise Solutions professional to support enterprise migration and transformation initiatives involving complex infrastructure and application environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in migration event management, infrastructure transformation, change governance, runbook coordination, stakeholder management, and enterprise migration operations. This role requires close collaboration with platform teams, application owners, implementation teams, and governance stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of migration events within regulated enterprise environments.

The candidate will play a key role in coordinating migration activities, managing technical dependencies, supporting governance processes, and ensuring operational readiness during migration windows and implementation events.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Planning & Event Coordination

1. Receive and analyze migration candidates (server hosts/applications) and schedule them within migration events
2. Coordinate migration activities aligned with defined T-minus schedules and implementation timelines
3. Identify and escalate migration risks, technical challenges, conflicts, and dependencies within move packages
4. Support migration event planning and execution activities across multiple squads and technical teams
5. Participate in go/no-go meetings and provide accurate event status updates

Migration Runbook & Technical Documentation

1. Own the preparation and maintenance of key migration artefacts including:
2. Statement of Execution (SoE)
3. Migration runbooks
4. Technical plans
5. Resourcing sheets
6. Event documentation
7. Conduct SoE walkthroughs for complex migration events
8. Review and validate final runbooks and implementation steps before execution
9. Ensure migration documentation is updated ahead of governance and stakeholder review sessions
10. Maintain accurate migration tracking and reporting within DTM or equivalent platforms

Stakeholder & Technical Coordination

1. Act as the coordination SME between application, platform, and infrastructure teams
2. Collaborate with platform teams supporting technologies such as:
3. Oracle
4. WebSphere
5. Middleware platforms
6. Infrastructure services
7. Facilitate technical workshops with Application Owners and Service Owners
8. Ensure implementation resources are aligned to support migration activities during execution windows
9. Coordinate resource planning and resource levelling across migration squads

Governance & Change Management

1. Follow enterprise change management processes and governance standards
2. Review, track, and ensure timely approvals for change records aligned with T-minus schedules
3. Attend CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to support movement of scope and migration approvals
4. Ensure adherence to migration governance checklists and operational procedures
5. Record and track risks/issues within appropriate governance systems
6. Ensure escalation procedures are followed for both internal and external incidents

Migration Execution & Operational Support

1. Act as Implementation Manager during weekend migration events when required
2. Coordinate migration activities during implementation windows ensuring all teams are aligned and operationally ready
3. Participate in daily stand-up meetings to review:
4. Progress updates
5. Risks/issues
6. Resource allocation
7. Event readiness
8. Support post-implementation review (PIR) sessions and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
9. Ensure operational best practices and governance standards are consistently followed
