Job Title: SAP HANA ABAP Consultant

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Experience: 6 – 8 Years

Shift: Willing to work any shift (Mainly 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM IST)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA ABAP Consultant to design, develop, optimize, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, and have strong performance tuning and SD/ MM process understanding. You will work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality enhancements and custom developments in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and enhance custom SAP ABAP applications in S/4HANA.
  2. Build CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, and RAP-based services.
  3. Design and implement RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
  4. Perform performance optimization & debugging for ABAP/HANA code.
  5. Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  6. Ensure adherence to coding standards, technical documentation, and SDLC processes.
  7. Provide support during testing, UAT, and go-live phases.

Mandatory Skills

  1. SAP ABAP including OO ABAP & performance tuning.
  2. ABAP on HANA with emphasis on code optimization.
  3. SAP HANA CDS Views development.
  4. OData Services & RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming).
  5. Strong understanding of SD & MM business processes.

Experience & Qualifications

  1. 6–8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  2. Minimum 1–2 years in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views & OData/RAP development.
  3. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  4. Experience with performance tuning, ATC/Code Inspector, and debugging tools.
