Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AEM SRE / Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), eCommerce production support, observability, and incident management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence of enterprise digital commerce platforms.
This role requires deep hands-on experience in L2 production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, release support, and root cause analysis for large-scale B2C/B2B eCommerce environments.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
Provide end-to-end L2 production support for enterprise AEM-based eCommerce applications.
Handle customer support requests and drive timely issue resolution within defined SLA/SLO targets.
Participate in on-call rotations and support critical production incidents during non-business hours.
Act as the escalation point for high-priority and complex production issues.
Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination with cross-functional teams for faster recovery.
AEM Platform Support
Support and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and related services.
Work with AEM Core Components, CRX DE, Package Manager, User Administration, and OSGi consoles.
Collaborate with development teams to review architecture, deployments, and production readiness.
Assist in implementing and supporting AEM-related enhancements and platform optimizations.
Troubleshoot issues related to Sightly/HTL templates, content rendering, integrations, and workflows.
Monitoring, Observability & Reliability Engineering
Build, maintain, and optimize monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding solutions.
Enable proactive monitoring and observability across applications and infrastructure.
Track and improve KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and operational metrics.
Analyze application performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions and ensure permanent fixes are implemented.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation.
Identify recurring issues and drive preventive actions and platform stabilization initiatives.
Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to improve platform resilience.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release management activities.
Ensure smooth deployment support and production release validation.
Contribute to operational excellence and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in production support and Site Reliability Engineering.
Recent 3+ years of hands-on experience in L2 production support for B2C/B2B eCommerce platforms.
Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Experience with Sightly (HTL) templating language.
Strong understanding of Solr technologies and search platform troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Expertise in configuring alerts, monitors, dashboards, and operational workflows.
Strong debugging and production issue diagnosis skills.
Hands-on experience with Java programming and Shell scripting.
Experience working with ITIL processes including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Experience handling SWAT situations, RCA processes, and SLA/SLO tracking.
Good understanding of eCommerce integrations and application ecosystems.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
