Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Master Data Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP MM and Master Data Governance. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end implementations, lead functional design, and manage integrations across SAP systems, ensuring efficient procurement and material management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead SAP MM and Master Data Management (MDM) implementations and enhancements
  2. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design
  3. Configure and customize SAP MM modules including:
  4. Material Master
  5. Procurement & Inventory Management
  6. Vendor Management
  7. Manage end-to-end lifecycle implementations including design, testing, deployment, and support
  8. Design and support integrations using BAPI, RFC, and other SAP technologies
  9. Work closely with technical teams on ABAP developments, user exits, and enhancements
  10. Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP, etc.)
  11. Support data migration, cleansing, and governance activities
  12. Provide leadership in S/4 HANA implementations and transformations
  13. Troubleshoot system issues and provide functional support
  14. Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT teams to ensure solution alignment
  15. Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices

Required Skills

  1. Strong experience in SAP MM (Material Management)
  2. Expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
  3. Hands-on with:
  4. BTP (Business Technology Platform)
  5. BAPI, RFC, User Exits
  6. ABAP (functional understanding)
  7. Experience in Data Migration & Data Warehousing
  8. Strong knowledge of S/4 HANA
  9. Experience in integration and cross-module functionality
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience Requirements

  1. 7–12 years of SAP MM experience
  2. Minimum 4 end-to-end SAP implementations (Material Master focus)
  3. At least 2 full lifecycle S/4 HANA implementations
  4. 8+ years in lead / senior functional role
  5. Proven experience in data governance and master data management

Education & Certifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  2. SAP MM Certification (Mandatory)
