Job Title: SAP BW/4HANA Developer Key Responsibilities


We are hiring for a well-established technology partner known for delivering scalable SAP data and analytics solutions to enterprise clients. The organization has a strong footprint in cloud, data engineering, and SAP ecosystems, offering an environment focused on practical innovation, long-term programs, and collaborative delivery


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects
  2. Build and manage Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains
  3. Develop high-performance and scalable data models for enterprise analytics
  4. Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, BTP, and external systems
  5. Enable data acquisition using ODP, CDS Views, SLT, APIs, and ETL tools
  6. Work with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) for connectivity and integration
  7. Support reporting requirements for procurement and supplier analytics (SAP Ariba)
  8. Optimize BW/4HANA objects for SAP HANA performance
  9. Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  10. Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements
  11. Maintain documentation and support deployments across environments

Must-Have Skills

  1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW / BW/4HANA development
  2. Strong expertise in:
  3. ADSO
  4. Composite Providers
  5. Open ODS Views
  6. InfoObjects
  7. Transformations & DTPs
  8. Process Chains
  9. Strong understanding of SAP HANA data modeling and performance optimization
  10. Experience with:
  11. ABAP routines
  12. AMDP
  13. SQL / SQLScript
  14. Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC
  15. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI
  16. Experience with SAP Ariba data integration or reporting
  17. Exposure to reporting tools such as SAC / SAP BO / similar platforms
  18. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
