Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be part of an agile development team working on cutting-edge internal actuarial solutions. The role involves full-stack development with a strong focus on Node.js, React, and AWS cloud technologies, supporting both cloud-native and legacy on-premise applications undergoing migration.

Must-Have Skills

1. Node.js (Backend development)
2. AWS Cloud Services (Step Functions, AWS Batch, Lambda, ECS/Fargate)
3. React.js (Frontend development) or Data Engineering exposure
4. API-based application development
5. Terraform and CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
6. SQL & NoSQL databases
7. Docker / Linux Containers and container orchestration
8. Test-Driven Development (TDD)
9. Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
10. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Good-to-Have Skills

1. DBT / Qlik Replication
2. Snowflake
3. C programming
4. .NET (Core / Framework)
5. Angular
6. Groovy

8. Shell Scripting
9. Experience in Insurance / Reinsurance domain
