The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development with mandatory hands-on experience in SAP Foreign Trade Services (FTS). This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale SAP transformation projects, leveraging modern S/4HANA technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA ABAP Consultant with extensive experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions on the S/4HANA platform. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise in ABAP development, SAP FTS (Foreign Trade Services), CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling development activities while collaborating with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, test, and support SAP S/4HANA ABAP applications.
  2. Develop and maintain SAP Foreign Trade Services (FTS) functionalities within SAP S/4HANA.
  3. Build and enhance core ABAP objects including:
  4. Reports
  5. Interfaces
  6. Conversions
  7. Enhancements
  8. Forms
  9. Develop advanced SAP artifacts using:
  10. CDS Views
  11. AMDP
  12. OData Services
  13. Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize ABAP programs for improved performance.
  14. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.
  15. Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  16. Support integrations with SAP and third-party systems.
  17. Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support.
  18. Prepare technical documentation and development specifications.
  19. Independently manage assigned tasks and deliver within project timelines.
  20. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and SAP best practices.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.
  3. Mandatory experience working with SAP Foreign Trade Services (FTS) in SAP S/4HANA.
  4. Strong expertise in classical and modern ABAP development.
  5. Hands-on experience in CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services.
  6. Good understanding of SAP HANA performance optimization.
  7. Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple development activities.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
