Logistics Pricing & Procurement Executive (UAE Market)

About the Role / Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Pricing & Procurement Executive to join in our client's team in Kochi, India. As a key member of our UAE market operations, you will be responsible for negotiating rates, building vendor networks, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for a candidate with hands-on UAE market experience, especially in warehouse pricing and vendor sourcing.

Responsibilities

1. Respond to pricing enquiries from internal sales teams and direct customers
2. Source competitive rates from vendors (warehouse, transport, freight, last-mile, etc.)
3. Prepare accurate and timely quotations with clear terms & conditions
4. Negotiate pricing to ensure optimal cost vs service balance
5. Coordinate with vendors and customers post job confirmation
6. Create and manage job entries in ERP (training will be provided)
7. Track shipments / warehouse activities and share regular updates
8. Send daily status reports (by 9:00 AM UAE time)
9. Collaborate with accounts on billing and job completion details
10. Maintain updated records of pricing, vendors, and ongoing jobs
11. Provide daily/weekly updates to management on pipeline and status

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Mandatory experience in UAE logistics / freight forwarding industry
2. Strong background in pricing and procurement
3. Hands-on experience in warehouse pricing (mandatory)
4. Existing vendor / agent network in UAE (especially warehouse vendors)
5. Strong negotiation and rate sourcing skills
6. Ability to handle multiple enquiries under tight timelines
7. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
8. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in 3PL / contract logistics pricing
2. Exposure to multi-modal logistics (air, sea, land)
3. Familiarity with UAE compliance and documentation
