About the Role

We are seeking applicants for our client, a large retail chain group, for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics POS Technical Consultant to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions. You will be instrumental in customizing and extending the capabilities of Dynamics 365 Commerce to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with various systems and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, Hardware Station, and POS extensions.
  • Configure and customize Modern POS (MPOS), Cloud POS (CPOS), and Store Commerce applications.
  • Develop integrations between D365 Commerce and third-party systems using APIs, Azure Services, and middleware platforms.
  • Create and maintain custom workflows, services, and business logic within the D365 Commerce ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of Commerce applications.
  • Support deployment activities, release management, and production issue resolution.
  • Develop technical design documents, deployment guides, and solution documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Dynamics 365 Retail development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Commerce Runtime (CRT)
    • Retail Server Extensions
    • POS Extensions (MPOS/CPOS/Store Commerce)
    • Hardware Station Development
    • Commerce Scale Unit (CSU)
  • Experience with Azure Functions.
  • Good understanding of Commerce architecture, channel database, and data synchronization processes.
  • Experience in integrations with ERP, payment gateways, loyalty systems, and third-party applications.
  • Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the Jewellery domain.
  • Experience working on Retail projects.
  • Malayalam Understanding Preferable
