Job Description We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Project Costing & Fixed Assets Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly in Project Costing, Project Accounting, Capital Projects, Fixed Assets, and integration with Payables and General Ledger.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of project costing and asset lifecycle processes, experience in supporting implementations/enhancements, and the ability to troubleshoot costing, accounting, integration, and reconciliation issues.

Key Responsibilities Oracle Fusion Project Costing Configure and support Oracle Fusion Project Costing functionality. Work on project setup, including: Project types and classifications Project organizations Expenditure types Expenditure categories Project templates and related configurations Manage project cost collection, processing, allocation, and accounting. Support project cost imports from: Accounts Payable Procurement Expenses External applications/systems Analyze and resolve project costing and accounting issues. Support project-to-GL reconciliation and period-end/period-close activities. Work on capital project accounting and project capitalization. Support transfer of capitalized project costs to Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets. Investigate interface failures, costing errors, accounting issues, and data discrepancies. Participate in enhancements, configuration changes, testing, UAT, and business process improvements.

Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Configure and support Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets. Work with: Asset books Asset categories Asset locations Depreciation methods and setups Asset-related configurations Support the complete asset lifecycle, including: Asset additions Adjustments Transfers Retirements Reinstatements Handle CIP (Construction in Progress) capitalization and asset capitalization processes. Support depreciation processing and related accounting. Work with Mass Additions and asset interfaces. Support integration between AP, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, and GL. Perform FA-to-GL reconciliation and support month-end/period-close activities. Support asset data conversion, validation, reporting, and issue resolution. Troubleshoot asset accounting and integration-related issues.

Project Accounting & Integration Understand end-to-end Project Accounting processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Work across Project Costing, Fixed Assets, AP, Procurement, Expenses, SLA, and GL. Understand the flow of project-related transactions from source systems through costing and accounting to GL. Support capital project and CIP accounting processes. Analyze accounting entries and reconciliation differences across subledgers and GL. Work with business and technical teams to resolve integration and transaction-processing issues.

Testing & Support Prepare and execute functional test scenarios and test cases. Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation. Participate in defect analysis and resolution. Support business users during UAT and post-production stabilization. Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and issue-resolution documentation. Work with technical teams on reports, integrations, interfaces, and enhancements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Preferred Skills Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation or support projects Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P, Project Accounting, and Asset Accounting processes Experience with project-to-asset capitalization and asset lifecycle processes Experience in data conversion/migration related to projects and fixed assets Exposure to Oracle Fusion integrations and interfaces Experience working with business users and offshore/onshore teams Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

Experience Required 5–10 years of overall experience, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Project Costing and Fixed Assets. Candidates should be able to independently handle functional configuration, transaction flows, reconciliation, issue troubleshooting, testing, and business-user support.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked extensively on both Oracle Fusion Project Costing and Fixed Assets, rather than having experience in only one module.
