Position Summary

We are seeking a Recruiter with a strong ownership mindset to manage hiring requirements and develop a profound understanding of our clients' businesses, talent needs, and delivery expectations. This role is distinct from traditional requirement-filling positions, requiring you to work closely with clients, comprehend their business models and hiring challenges, build talent pipelines, source and headhunt candidates, and ultimately take ownership of recruitment deliverables and business outcomes. The position integrates recruitment expertise, client understanding, delivery ownership, and commercial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Delivery

• Manage end-to-end recruitment requirements across Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
• Gain a thorough understanding of job descriptions, business requirements, team structures, and candidate expectations.
• Source candidates effectively through job portals, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, networking, and direct headhunting.
• Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for both active and upcoming requirements.
• Conduct candidate screening, qualification, and initial assessments.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure effective candidate and client communication.
• Track hiring progress diligently to ensure timely delivery against agreed requirements.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data, candidate pipelines, and hiring updates.

Headhunting & Talent Mapping

• Identify and engage passive candidates through headhunting and direct sourcing strategies.
• Develop comprehensive talent maps for specific industries, functions, locations, and skill sets.
• Create innovative sourcing strategies for challenging-to-fill positions.
• Continuously expand candidate networks beyond incoming applications.

Client & Business Understanding

• Develop a deep understanding of the client's business model, industry, products/services, organizational structure, and talent requirements.
• Ascertain the underlying reasons for hiring and define success criteria for each position.
• Collaborate with clients to enhance candidate quality and improve hiring outcomes.
• Cultivate long-term client relationships through consistent delivery and professional communication.

Business & Revenue Ownership

• Take full ownership of recruitment deliverables, client expectations, and business outcomes.
• View recruitment as a revenue-generating function, not merely a vacancy-filling activity.
• Act as a delivery partner to clients, contributing to successful hiring and revenue generation.
• Monitor requirements, closures, turnaround times, candidate quality, and overall delivery performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand hiring engagements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment / talent acquisition.
• Proficiency with job portals and online sourcing platforms.
• Practical knowledge of headhunting and passive candidate sourcing techniques.
• Strong candidate screening and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret job descriptions and hiring requirements.
• Strong English and Malayalam communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of recruitment deliverables.
• Willingness to understand client businesses, industries, and commercial requirements.
• Excellent follow-up, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working in a target-driven and outcome-oriented environment.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Ability to communicate in Tamil.
• Experience recruiting for both Kerala and Tamil Nadu markets.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or advanced LinkedIn sourcing tools.
• Experience with multiple job boards (e.g., Naukri, Foundit, Indeed, Instahyre).
• Experience handling niche or difficult-to-fill positions.
• Experience working directly with clients or hiring managers.
• Exposure to specific hiring domains such as technology, IT services, engineering, BFSI, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Experience with recruitment metrics, dashboards, ATS/CRM systems, and recruitment analytics.
• Previous experience in a revenue-linked recruitment or staffing environment.

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a purely transactional recruitment role focused solely on receiving requirements, searching resumes, forwarding profiles, and filling vacancies. At Knowledge Artisans, recruiters are expected to function as delivery partners alongside clients, understand their businesses, own hiring outcomes, and contribute to sustainable revenue and relationship growth.
