SAP BTP DevOps / SRE Engineer  

 Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP DevOps / SRE Engineer to automate deployments, manage SAP cloud landscapes, implement Infrastructure as Code, and ensure platform security and compliance across SAP Business Technology Platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or SAP Project Piper.

  • Manage SAP BTP multi-tenant landscapes, subaccounts, and spaces across Cloud Foundry and Kyma/Kubernetes environments.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or Ansible.

  • Manage SAP BTP security, including XSUAA, destination services, certificate rotation, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.

  • Configure and manage Multi-Target Applications (MTAs) using mta.yaml.

  • Manage SAP Connectivity Service and Cloud Connector.

  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Node.js.

  • Follow Git-based workflows and best practices for version control and repository management.

 Mandatory Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including at least 2 years focused on SAP BTP.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma runtime.

  • Experience with MTA configuration, SAP Connectivity Service, and Cloud Connector.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry.

  • Experience with CI/CD automation and Git-based workflows.

  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Node.js.

  • Experience with Terraform or Ansible.

  • Knowledge of SAP BTP security and compliance practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP certification in DevOps or integration.

  • Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA across public cloud, private cloud, or on-premises environments.

  • Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
