The Knowledge Artisans Private Limited is hiring an experienced SAP BTP DevOps / SRE Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a challenging enterprise project with strong exposure to SAP BTP, Cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, Automation, Infrastructure as Code, and Security.

👉 You will be working for one of our reputed IT Services clients, gaining valuable experience in enterprise-scale cloud and SAP technologies.

📌 Role Details

Experience: 5+ years in DevOps / SRE

SAP BTP Experience: Minimum 2+ years

Project Duration: 12–14 months

Travel: Yes, as required

Priority: Immediate Joiners

Location: Remote 

🔥 Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP applications

Work with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and SAP Project "Piper"

Automate application deployments, testing, and release processes

SAP BTP & Landscape Management

Manage SAP BTP multi-tenant environments, subaccounts, and spaces

Administer Cloud Foundry and Kyma/Kubernetes environments

Work with MTA applications and mta.yaml configurations

Manage SAP Connectivity Service and Cloud Connector

Infrastructure as Code

Provision, configure, and scale SAP BTP services and cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or Ansible

Build reusable and automated infrastructure configurations

Security & Compliance

Configure and manage XSUAA

Manage Destination Services, certificates, secrets, and credential rotation

Perform certificate rotation and secret management

Support vulnerability scanning and platform security

Ensure secure and compliant BTP environments

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on DevOps / SRE experience

2+ years of dedicated SAP BTP experience

Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services and architecture

Hands-on experience with MTA, mta.yaml, SAP Connectivity Service, and Cloud Connector

Strong experience with Docker

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, and/or SAP BTP Kyma Runtime

Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Node.js scripting

Strong Git, branching strategies, and repository management skills

Experience with Jenkins / GitLab CI/CD / GitHub Actions / SAP Project Piper

Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible

Strong understanding of XSUAA, Destination Services, certificates, secrets, and vulnerability management

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

SAP Certified Associate – Integration Associate

SAP Certified Associate – DevOps Engineer

Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA

Public Cloud

Private Cloud

On-premises

Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hosting SAP workloads

Experience with enterprise cloud, automation, security, and SAP integration architectures
