Job Title: SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant (S/4HANA)

We are hiring for a leading global MNC seeking SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant (S/4HANA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Migration Strategy & Planning

1. Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define data requirements, extraction logic, and validation criteria
2. Develop and execute detailed data cutover plans (Mock cycles, Dry Runs, Production Cutover)
3. Align with global data migration strategy across multiple country rollouts

2. ETL Execution (Extract, Transform, Load)

1. Manage extraction of master and transactional data from SAP ECC and non-SAP systems
2. Lead data cleansing and transformation activities aligned with S/4HANA data model
3. Execute data loads using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC), LTMOM, and SAP Data Services (BODS)
4. Support Business Partner (CVI) conversion and New Asset Accounting migration

3. Data Validation & Reconciliation

1. Perform pre-load and post-load validation to ensure data accuracy
2. Conduct financial reconciliations (Trial Balance, sub-ledger vs GL)
3. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data load issues in collaboration with ABAP/technical teams

4. Stakeholder Management

1. Work closely with global finance teams to address localization requirements (tax, COA, banking formats)
2. Facilitate UAT cycles and obtain business sign-offs for migrated data

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

1. 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO
2. Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations and 2 data migration projects
3. Strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI):
4. General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
5. Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting
6. Strong expertise in Controlling (CO):
7. Cost Center Accounting
8. Profit Center Accounting
9. Internal Orders

S/4HANA Knowledge

1. Hands-on experience with:
2. Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
3. New Asset Accounting
4. Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI) / Business Partner

Technical / Migration Expertise

1. Strong experience with:
2. SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC)
3. LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler)
4. Experience with:
5. SAP Data Services (BODS) or LSMW
6. Strong SQL knowledge or ability to write functional specs for ABAP developments
7. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data validation

Data Migration Scope

1. Experience handling:
2. Master Data: GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Bank Master, Fixed Assets, Business Partners
3. Transactional Data: GL balances, AP/AR open items, Fixed Asset balances, Cost object balances

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Exposure to Databricks
2. Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Data Migration
3. Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
4. Exposure to SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication)
5. Experience working in multi-currency and multi-GAAP environments (IFRS, US GAAP, Local GAAP)
