About the Role We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Senior Consultant with 8–10 years of SAP SD experience and strong expertise in end-to-end SAP implementations, business process design, and cross-module integration. The ideal candidate should have strong Sales & Distribution domain knowledge, preferably gained through experience in industries such as Automotive, FMCG, Retail, Trading, Pharma, Cement, or Textiles. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and configuring SAP SD solutions, supporting end-to-end implementations, coordinating with cross-functional and technical teams, and providing solution-oriented recommendations to customers.

Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to end-to-end SAP SD implementations from requirement gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Should have participated in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Design and configure SAP SD business scenarios based on business requirements and SAP best practices. Provide functional expertise across key SAP SD processes, including sales, order management, delivery, shipping, billing, pricing, and related processes. Understand and manage integration between SAP SD and other core modules such as FI/CO, MM, PP, and ABAP. Work closely with cross-functional SAP consultants to understand business requirements and design integrated solutions. Coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, workflows, and other developments. Prepare detailed Functional Specifications for new developments and change requests. Review functional and technical objects and coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues. Perform basic debugging and analyze functional issues to identify root causes. Provide solution-focused recommendations for complex business and system challenges. Participate in requirement workshops, solution discussions, process walkthroughs, testing, UAT, and deployment activities. Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices, standard functionality, and SAP building blocks. Support incident and problem resolution and provide functional guidance to project teams. Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and customer stakeholders. Communicate effectively with senior management and customer leadership. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members where required. Stay updated with current SAP trends, technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Support project-specific business travel as required.

Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of overall SAP SD experience. Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and business process consulting. Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Strong understanding of Sales & Distribution business processes. Experience in one or more relevant industries such as: Automotive FMCG Retail Trading Pharma Cement Textiles Strong integration knowledge with: SAP FI/CO SAP MM SAP PP ABAP Good understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle. Ability to design and configure business scenarios independently. Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices and building blocks. Experience in preparing Functional Specifications. Ability to work with ABAP/technical teams on custom developments and enhancements. Basic SAP debugging knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to convert business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to interact confidently with customer senior management and executive stakeholders. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Preferred Qualifications SAP SD Certification is preferred. Experience working on international or global SAP projects. Exposure to multiple SAP implementation or rollout projects. Experience working with customers across different industries and geographies. Strong knowledge of current SAP technologies and industry trends. Experience in mentoring or coaching junior SAP consultants.
