As part of its growing SAP SuccessFactors practice, the client is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central professional who can lead complex implementation, rollout, integration, and support engagements for global customers.
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Lead Consultant with 10–15 years of overall SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience, including 5–7+ years of hands-on Employee Central experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Employee Central implementations, global rollouts, enhancements, integrations, and support engagements. The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management capabilities, solution-design skills, and the ability to lead teams across global delivery environments. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Employee Central configuration, HR business processes, MDF, Business Rules, Workflows, Position Management, RBP, Data Models, and Event Reasons, along with experience working on integrations using SAP CPI, Integration Center, OData APIs, and SAP Cloud Connector.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support projects. Drive project activities from requirement gathering and analysis through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Conduct workshops with HR/business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SuccessFactors solutions. Analyze existing HR processes and recommend improvements aligned with SAP SuccessFactors best practices. Configure and maintain Employee Central components, including: Foundation Objects Generic Objects MDF Objects Business Rules Workflows Event Reasons Position Management Role-Based Permissions (RBP) Data Models Configure and support core HR processes including: New Hire / Hiring Employee Transfers Promotions Terminations Organizational Changes Employee Data Changes Position Changes Perform solution design, impact analysis, configuration, functional testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization. Lead and participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, production deployment, and post-production validation. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely functional resolutions. Support quarterly SAP SuccessFactors releases and assess the impact of new functionality on existing configurations. Participate in release management, regression testing, and enhancement activities. Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom development and integrations. Work closely with integration teams on interfaces involving: SAP CPI Integration Center OData APIs SAP Cloud Connector SAP S/4HANA SAP HCM Payroll Third-party payroll systems Other enterprise applications Support employee and organizational data migration activities using SuccessFactors import/export tools. Collaborate with global HR, IT, payroll, integration, and business teams. Provide functional leadership and mentor junior consultants. Ensure solutions comply with SAP SuccessFactors best practices and organizational standards. Contribute to project estimation, planning, solution documentation, knowledge transfer, and delivery governance. Work effectively in Agile and global delivery environments.

Required Experience 10–15 years of overall SAP HCM / SAP SuccessFactors experience. Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience. Strong experience in Employee Central implementation, configuration, enhancement, rollout, and production support. Proven experience leading or independently delivering end-to-end Employee Central implementations. Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed delivery teams. Strong understanding of core HR and organizational management processes. Experience in multiple implementation and/or global rollout engagements is highly preferred.
Integration Experience Candidates should have good functional understanding of SuccessFactors integrations and experience collaborating with integration/technical teams on: SAP CPI Integration Center OData APIs SAP Cloud Connector SAP S/4HANA SAP HCM Payroll Employee Central Payroll Third-party payroll systems Enterprise HR applications

The ideal candidate should have experience in: Multiple end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementations. Global SAP SuccessFactors rollouts. Template rollouts and localization. Production support and enhancement projects. Business requirement workshops. Solution design and functional documentation. SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management. Cutover and go-live activities. Post-go-live stabilization. Quarterly SuccessFactors release management. Agile delivery methodologies. SAP Activate methodology.
Leadership Responsibilities Act as the functional lead for Employee Central workstreams. Guide junior and mid-level consultants. Review functional solutions and configuration approaches. Coordinate with project managers, architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders. Drive issue resolution and ensure delivery within agreed timelines. Conduct knowledge-sharing and mentoring sessions. Represent the Employee Central functional team in customer discussions and project governance meetings.
Education & Certifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Preferred Certifications: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification. SAP SuccessFactors-related certifications. SAP CPI certification is an advantage.
