Role Overview

Trigyn is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to join our team in Entebbe. This role focuses on the development of MS-Flow, PowerApps, and Power BI solutions. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from gathering business requirements and performing fit-gap analysis to designing, testing, and deploying robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using MS-Flow and PowerApps.
• Collaborate with teams to gather business and system requirements.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and design scalable technical solutions.
• Define, document, and test solutions to ensure high performance.
• Manage the integration, deployment, and migration of solutions across environments.
• Design, build, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Integrate Power BI into existing applications and platforms.
• Optimize Power BI performance and define best practices for data visualization.
• Provide production support, resolve issues within SLAs, and conduct user training.
• Evaluate user needs to provide technical expertise on structural and organizational specifications.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, coding, testing, and design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence Design and Build.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Proficiency in MS-Flow and PowerApps.
• Strong database management skills.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in reverse engineering and revising existing Power BI artifacts.
• Experience in performing basic Power BI administration tasks.
• Expertise in data modeling and storage optimization.
• Proven ability to conduct live and web-based end-user training.
