About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive / Senior Associate – Freight Forwarding (Saudi Operations) to manage end-to-end freight forwarding activities for Saudi Arabia across Sea, Air, and Land transportation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience handling Saudi freight operations, customs clearance procedures (FASA & ZATCA), freight pricing, documentation, shipment coordination, and customer relationship management. The role requires close collaboration with overseas agents, shipping lines, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Forwarding Operations

1. Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations for Saudi import and export shipments.
2. Coordinate Sea, Air, and Land freight movements from booking through final delivery.
3. Ensure timely shipment execution while meeting customer and operational requirements.
4. Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues.

Saudi Customs & Compliance

1. Handle customs clearance activities in accordance with Saudi regulations.
2. Ensure compliance with FASA, ZATCA, and other Saudi customs procedures.
3. Verify shipping documentation before customs submission.
4. Coordinate with customs brokers and overseas agents to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.

Pricing & Commercial Operations

1. Prepare freight quotations and pricing proposals for customers.
2. Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and vendors for competitive freight rates.
3. Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining profitability.
4. Support RFQs, tenders, and customer pricing requests.

Documentation & Shipment Coordination

1. Prepare and verify freight documentation including:
2. Commercial Invoice
3. Packing List
4. Bill of Lading (B/L)
5. Air Waybill (AWB)
6. Delivery Orders
7. Shipping Instructions
8. Certificate of Origin
9. Ensure complete documentation accuracy before shipment execution.
10. Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, and operations teams throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Customer Relationship Management

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
2. Understand customer logistics requirements and provide suitable freight solutions.
3. Handle shipment updates, escalations, and after-sales support.
4. Support customer onboarding and long-term account development.

Operational Reporting

1. Maintain shipment records and operational documentation.
2. Update freight management systems and ERP platforms.
3. Prepare operational reports, shipment status updates, and KPI reports.
4. Recommend process improvements for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or International Logistics.
3. Proven experience handling Saudi Arabia freight forwarding operations.
4. Experience in either onsite Saudi operations or Saudi back-office operations will be considered.
5. Strong understanding of Saudi customs regulations and freight documentation.
6. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
7. Ability to work independently while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
