Senior IT Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior IT Manager to join a renowned leader in the retail industry. Based in Thrissur, Kerala, this role is pivotal in overseeing our comprehensive IT infrastructure, securing digital assets, managing key technology vendors, and providing strategic leadership to our internal technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of technology across our headquarters and 65 retail outlets, while spearheading critical security and cloud-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Oversee the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, specifically supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Network Operations: Manage and optimize network connectivity across the corporate headquarters and 65 retail locations.
• Business Continuity: Develop, implement, and test robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors, ensuring high system uptime and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Team Leadership: Supervise the internal IT support team, network engineers, and in-house Dynamics 365 developers to ensure technical outputs align with business objectives.
• System Integration: Manage integrations with government portals, banking systems, and payment gateways.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain and optimize existing Sophos firewall and endpoint security infrastructure.
• Strategic Projects: Evaluate, select, and deploy Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for corporate Android devices and BYOD policies, and implement Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions across all corporate Windows PCs.
• Operational Oversight: Manage IT asset procurement, lifecycle planning, budgeting, and daily IT operations across multi-state retail outlets.

Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE or B.Tech).
• 8+ years of professional experience in IT management, preferably within the retail sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud administration.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking principles and firewall management (Sophos preferred).
• Proven experience in implementing and managing Endpoint Security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions (e.g., HexNode, ManageEngine).
• Experience deploying and managing EDR tools.
• Fluency in Malayalam.
• Ability to relocate to and work from Thrissur, Kerala.
