Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to lead enterprise-scale ERP solution architecture and technical delivery initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing D365 F&O solutions for complex business environments, including healthcare-focused operations and multi-country deployments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in X++ development, Azure integrations, DevOps, performance optimization, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to lead distributed teams and engage with stakeholders across global regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead technical architecture and development for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions.
2. Design and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations using X++, Power Platform, and D365 extensibility frameworks.
3. Architect scalable and secure ERP solutions aligned with business processes such as supply chain, finance, procurement, and inventory management.
4. Define data models, security frameworks, and performance optimization strategies for enterprise deployments.
5. Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
6. Design and troubleshoot integrations using OData, custom APIs/services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and batch frameworks.
7. Lead code reviews, fit-gap analysis, technical estimations, and solution optimization initiatives.
8. Support data migration activities using Data Management Framework (DMF) across multi-entity environments.
9. Collaborate with functional consultants, offshore teams, and business stakeholders throughout implementation and support phases.
10. Participate in pre-sales activities including technical proposals, solution demos, architecture discussions, and effort estimation.
11. Mentor junior developers and enforce Microsoft best practices to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions.

Required Experience

1. 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
2. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O / AX development.
3. At least 3+ years in a Technical Architect / Senior Developer capacity.
4. Experience delivering multiple end-to-end D365 F&O implementations in multi-country environments.
5. Strong exposure to enterprise ERP integrations, performance tuning, and scalable architecture design.
6. Experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed onshore-offshore delivery models.

Technical Skills Required

1. Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
2. Advanced development experience in X++ and Visual Studio
3. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, LCS, CI/CD pipelines
4. Knowledge of Power Platform and D365 extensibility framework
5. Experience with Azure services including Logic Apps and Azure Functions
6. Strong understanding of Finance (GL/AP/AR) and Supply Chain Management modules
7. SQL performance tuning and optimization skills
8. Experience with SSRS, Power BI, Data Entities, and OData integrations
9. Knowledge of enterprise security, role-based access, and compliance best practices

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
2. Microsoft certifications such as MB-300, MB-500, or MB-700 preferred
3. Experience in healthcare or regulated enterprise environments is an added advantage
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for global engagements
