Workday Integration Lead/Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Lead / Architect to join our Enterprise Solutions team. This is a leadership-focused role requiring deep expertise in Workday integrations, solution architecture, client engagement, and team management.

The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority for Workday integration initiatives, supporting implementation projects, application management services (AMS), and client augmentation engagements across global customers. The role also involves practice development, team mentoring, solution design, and pre-sales support.

This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy leading complex Workday programs, driving technical excellence, and working closely with enterprise clients to deliver scalable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Integration Leadership

1. Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of Workday integration solutions.
2. Act as the primary technical expert for Workday Integration projects and AMS engagements.
3. Provide architectural guidance and best practices for Workday integrations.
4. Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business and enterprise architecture requirements.

Client Engagement & Delivery

1. Work directly with clients to gather requirements, conduct solution design workshops, and define integration strategies.
2. Support implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
3. Manage escalations and resolve complex integration issues.
4. Ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Team Management & Practice Development

1. Lead and mentor Workday integration consultants and developers.
2. Manage team workload, project assignments, and delivery timelines.
3. Establish technical standards, governance processes, and performance metrics.
4. Support hiring, onboarding, and capability development initiatives.

Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture

1. Partner with sales and account teams to support proposals, solution design, and client presentations.
2. Participate in solution estimation, technical assessments, and architecture reviews.
3. Contribute to practice growth initiatives and internal capability-building programs.

Documentation & Training

1. Develop technical documentation, integration standards, reusable assets, and training materials.
2. Promote knowledge sharing across project teams and global delivery centers.

Required Qualifications

Experience

1. 13+ years of overall IT experience.
2. Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
3. Proven experience delivering Workday implementation and AMS projects.
4. Experience leading offshore teams, preferably supporting US and EMEA customers.
5. Strong experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
6. Current or previous Workday Certification

6. Experience building and scaling Workday practices or CoEs.
