Branch Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Branch Manager to oversee our Gold Loan operations in thrissur. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring the integrity of gold valuation processes, and maintaining a high-performing branch environment. You will lead the branch team in achieving ambitious disbursal targets while managing risk and ensuring excellent customer service. This position is ideal for a financial services professional with a strong background in secured lending and branch administration who is fluent in Malayalam and possesses deep knowledge of the local market.

Key Responsibilities

• Gold Loan Disbursals: Drive new customer acquisition, loan disbursals, and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual business volume targets.
• Portfolio Health: Build and maintain a healthy, profitable gold loan book while keeping non-performing assets (NPAs) at a minimum.
• Renewals & Collections: Manage timely loan renewals, interest collections, and execute overdue/recovery follow-ups.
• Cross-Selling: Promote allied financial products, including insurance, gold coins, vehicle loans, fixed deposits (FD), recurring deposits (RD), and loans against property (LAP).
• Gold Valuation & Purity Checks: Ensure accurate purity testing, weight verification, and secure appraisal of all pledged gold assets.
• Branch Administration: Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage branch staff to ensure high productivity, operational efficiency, and adherence to company service standards.
